Fossil - #GiftBrilliantly

Stop motion animation - Fossil

Client: Fossil

I was comissioned to showcase one of Fossil's watches as part of their Christmas Campaign. I had a free hand in coming up with the idea, so I thought about what might be the reason for gifting a watch. On reason for gifting something is that it reminds you to a nice memory. This animation starts with a train going around on a track, suggesting the memory of a romantic train ride. Then the train start to dismantle, showing that the memory is fading in time. Finally, the train disappears, only the track remains, which also disappears in 12 sections, mimicking the 12 hours on a watch. The background that remains turns into the background of the gift card, sitting on top of the Fossil box, containing the watch, which this way becomes a constant reminder of the train ride memory.
